While breast cancer most commonly affects women over 50, young women are not immune—especially those with family history or genetic mutations like BRCA1 or BRCA2.

You may be at Higher risk if:

  • You have a close relative (mother, sister, aunt) who had breast or ovarian cancer.

  • You started menstruating early or reached menopause late.

  • You have dense breast tissue or certain genetic mutations.
